Good Samaritan Food Pantry

Good Samaritan Food Pantry - we continue to feed people just as God feeds us!

Good Samaritan Food Pantry

Open Monday & Thursday, 9AM to 12PM

Good Samaritan Food Pantry opened in 1971 and has been feeding the community of Pinellas Park ever since. We are located in the small white building across the parking lot from the main church building.

I Need Food

When can I come?: Guests may visit as often as once a month – Monday or Thursday, 9AM to 12PM. Guests experiencing homelessness are allowed to visit as often as once a week, and will receive our special no-cook bag. Please note that guests without an address or kitchen are ineligible to receive our USDA food.

What should I expect?: Our pantry is drive-up and there will be a signage and volunteers to guide you. Because some of the food we provide is USDA food, you will be asked basic questions about your name, address, other assistance you receive, and the number of people in your household. You do not need to show ID.

I can’t get to the pantry: We do not deliver food. A friend or family member may pick up food for you. Please send them with a signed copy of this form if you wish to receive USDA food. You may also call 211 (the country helpline) for a complete list of local pantries.

I Want to Donate

We would love to receive your donations!

Food Donations: We receive food donations during our regular pantry hours – Monday & Thursday, 9AM to 12PM. Please come to the other door facing the parking lot to deliver your donation.

Monetary donations: Our pantry is entirely volunteer-run, and other funds are used to pay for utilities and upkeep of the pantry building, so we are pleased to say that 100% of your donations go to buy food or necessary equipment, such as refrigerators, freezers, A/C units, and shelving.

I Want to Volunteer

We always welcome new volunteers and will train you on the job. Please submit this application and we will get in touch with you.

You can also help by organizing a food drive at your business or organization.
